Israel told Egyptian mediators that it intends to stop its military operation, Al Jazeera reported, citing an unidentified person. Al Jazeera didn’t include a time frame for the end of the attacks, although a separate report from Israel’s Channel 13, citing an unidentified Hamas official, said the truce was scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. Friday.
