Australia and New Zealand in April started their first quarantine-free flights since the coronavirus pandemic began, after they successfully halted Covid-19 transmissions from spreading through their nations.
Melbourne, the Australian city that’s already endured one of the world’s longest and most stringent lockdowns, is grappling with a new coronavirus outbreak. The government has ordered residents to stay home for the fourth time since the pandemic began as the return of infections tests the country’s zero-tolerance approach to the virus.
