2:16Now PlayingAs the war in Ukraine enters its fourth week, patriotic messages are appearing on bodies and billboards.
At a tattoo parlour in Lviv, Ukrainians are coming in to get tattoos of the Ukrainian flags and other symbols.
One of them was 18-year-old Olena Barlevych who got a tattoo of the Ukrainian coat of arms with a military aircraft symbolising the fight to defend her country.
"It is a very important phase for our country, which must go down in history, which must be passed on to future generations," Barlevych said.
Barlevych got her tattoo designed and inked by Natalia Tanchynets who has had many clients come in from several parts of Ukraine for similar tattoos.
Tanchynets said that 70 per cent of her proceeds from her patriotic tattoos are donated to the Ukrainian army.
While Tanchynets is proud of the patriotic tattoos, they are a sad reminder of the tragic war engulfing her country and resulting in the death of so many people.
Just last week one of her clients was killed on the front line.
No matter their occupation, Ukrainians are trying to support the fight in any way they can.
