YouTube Description
as posted by the channelDozens of Mariupol residents laid flowers at a monument to victims of fascism, marking Victory Day over Nazi Germany in World War II.
The eternal flame was lit at the monument for the first time since 2014.
Ukrainian authorities didn't welcome Victory Day celebrations, according to one local resident.
People also carried a 300-metre long ribbon of Saint George, a Russian military symbol, through the streets, and unfolded a large Soviet Victory Banner.
