Russian rockets hit a busy shopping mall in the central Ukrainian city of Kremenchuk on Monday, June 27, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky

More than 1,000 people were in the Amstor mall at the time of the attack, and rescue efforts were ongoing on Monday evening, Zelensky said.

The Ukrainian president said the shopping mall had “no strategic value” to Russian forces.

He posted footage from the site showing a badly damaged and collapsed building ablaze as fire crews attempted to contain the flames.
