Ukraine made gains in the Kharkiv region, reclaiming areas that were previously occupied by Russia.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that from the beginning of September to Monday, Ukrainian forces liberated 6,000 square kilometers (2,316 square miles) in southeastern Ukraine from Russian occupation.
