0:37Now PlayingRussia is seeing signs of inflation acceleration, President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting focused on economic issues on Tuesday.
"At the moment it is moderate, but there are already signs of an acceleration of inflation, due to the fact, among other things, that the supply of Russian producers lags behind demand," Putin said.
He also praised Russia’s GDP growth, which, according to him, is expected to increase by more than two percent by the end of 2023.
“Thus, this growth will fully win back last year's decline,” Putin said.
