0:31Now PlayingUkrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy began a high-stakes trip to the U.S. Monday by visiting some of his country's wounded troops in a New York hospital.
After losing limbs during the Ukraine's ongoing fight to repel Russia's invasion, the troops were brought to New York via a New Jersey-based charity called Kind Deeds. They got fitted for prostheses are undergoing outpatient physical therapy at the hospital.
Zelenskyy greeted some as they did exercises in a rehab gym. Eight others, two in wheelchairs, met with him in a hospital conference room.
