as posted by the channelBelarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said his country will "defend proactively" as he was given a tour of military installations in the Brest region close to the border with Poland and Ukraine.
Lukashenko was shown military equipment including drones and artillery, while he also spoke to soldiers at the outpost, telling them they should always be prepared for combat.
"We will work out all the measures in peacetime, as we have done today, so that in advance, in case we receive a signal that our neighbors are misbehaving, we will occupy these points," said Lukashenko during an impromptu briefing afterwards.
"We are not building up armed forces at the borders of Poland or, say, the Baltic States in order to attack them," Lukashenko continued, adding Belarus' forces should be ready to go on the offensive "if we have the need to do so."
