as posted by the channelThe Israel Defense Forces released on Thursday footage allegedly showing a cruise missile launched from the southeast toward Israeli airspace, and being intercepted by its Air Force.
The IDF reported that "in recent days" a cruise missile was detected by the IAF’s control and detection systems, adding that it was successfully intercepted. The military said that the Israeli Air Force 'Arrow' Aerial Defense System intercepted also a surface-to-surface missile in the area of the Red Sea.
Hamas launched a bloody Oct. 7 rampage into Israel, killing hundreds of men, women and children. Some 240 were taken captive in Gaza. Over 1,400 people have died on the Israeli side, mainly civilians killed during Hamas’ initial attack.
At least 9,061 Palestinians have been killed in the war, mostly women and minors, and more than 32,000 people have been wounded, the Gaza Health Ministry said Thursday.
