The Trump campaign put out a victory statement calling on Haley to drop out of the race.
“Every day she stays in this race is another day she delivers to the Harris-Biden campaign. It’s time for unity, it’s time to take the fight to the Democrats, and for Nikki Haley: it’s time to drop out,” said the statement by spokesman Taylor Budowich.
Haley’s super PAC has said she plans to stay in at least until the February primary in her home state of South Carolina.
Nikki Haley indicated she intends to continue her campaign despite her defeat to Donald Trump in the New Hampshire primary.
“This race is far from over. There are dozens of states left to go,” Haley told supporters. “And the next one is my sweet state of South Carolina.”
“New Hampshire is first in the nation. It is not last in the nation,” Haley added.
