Russian President Vladimir Putin “has said publicly that Russia intends to launch another experimental Oreshnik missile.” Sabrina Singh, a Defense Department spokesperson, told reporters at the Pentagon on Wednesday. “It’s possible that Russia could do it in the coming days.”
The warning comes as the Russian Defense Ministry vowed to respond to Ukraine hitting a military airfield in the southwestern Rostov region with what it says were six US-supplied ATACMS missiles.
