as posted by the channelRussian President Vladimir Putin is demanding a suspension of all weapons deliveries to Ukraine during a ceasefire proposed by US counterpart Donald Trump, according to people with knowledge of the matter.
The two leaders began a phone call at 10 a.m. in Washington on Tuesday, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino said in a post on the X social media platform. “The call is going well, and still in progress,” he said.
The Kremlin hasn’t commented on the discussions that the US hopes will secure Russian agreement to the 30-day truce that Ukraine has already said it’s ready to accept.
