YouTube Description
as posted by the channelPresident Donald Trump says Vice President JD Vance's upcoming trip to Greenland is about "friendliness, not provocation." Trump said the US delegation was invited. Vance and his wife have scaled back plans for the trip, but they will visit a US military base in the Danish territory. Trump has for months insisted the US needs control over Greenland for national security purposes, triggering a diplomatic crisis with Copenhagen. He called U.S. control of the island that is part of the Kingdom of Denmark important for national security.
First it was Donald Trump Jr announcing he was “coming in hot” to Greenland weeks after his father said the US would annex the world’s biggest island. Now Vice President JD Vance is joining a trip there because he doesn’t want his wife “to have all that fun by herself.”
A planned trip this week to the Danish territory is causing all kinds of consternation about the true nature of the visit, which was originally presented as family excursion that included watching a national dog sled race but was actually a sizable US delegation. No one was buying it.
