“It’s another provocation from the Russian Federation that comes at a crucial moment, when there is hope for the end of the war in Ukraine,” Kosiniak-Kamysz said.
It was the most serious violation of Polish airspace since last year, when a Russian cruise missile briefly entered the country during an attack on Ukraine. In late 2022, an errant Ukrainian air-defense missile killed two people in NATO-member Poland, sparking crisis talks within the alliance.
