Carney and President Donald Trump will hold working meetings that day, according to a statement from the prime minister’s office on Friday.
Canada, the US and Mexico all launched consultations last month to prepare for a 2026 review of the North American free trade deal that Trump signed in his first term.
“The prime minister’s working visit will focus on shared priorities in a new economic and security relationship between Canada and the US,” Carney’s office said.
