Maduro is being transported to New York, where he will stand trial on narco-terrorism conspiracy and drug trafficking charges.
US oil companies will spend “billions of dollars” to fix Venezuelan infrastructure, according to Trump, who also said he’s not afraid of “boots on the ground” if necessary.
María Corina Machado said the Venezuelan opposition is ready to assume power; separately, Trump said Machado lacks the support or respect to lead the country.
