as posted by the channel

French President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday announced the arrival of French troops in Greenland as forces from several European countries continue to arrive on island in a show of support for Denmark.

Underscoring the urgency of the stepped up investment, Macron addressed Europe’s response to US threats over Greenland, where France is joining European allies in sending military personnel to the semi-automonous Danish territory.

A stalemate between Denmark and President Donald Trump’s administration is prompting a response by several European countries, with Germany among those sending a reconnaissance team this week.
