Trump told NewsNation the US would hit back, saying “you’ll find out soon” what form that would take. He added it likely won’t be necessary to put boots on the ground, the news outlet reported him as saying.
The embassy incident resulted in a “limited fire and minor material damage to the building,” according to a statement on X from Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense.
