Attention continued to be focused on an oil market Tuesday, whipsawed amid the White House’s acknowledgment that a post from US Energy Secretary Chris Wright had erroneously claimed that an oil tanker had been escorted through the Strait of Hormuz.
On Capitol Hill, senators commented on the ongoing military operation and US involvement in the war, with many questioning the end goal. “The one part that seems clear is that while there is no money for 15 million Americans who lost their health care, there’s a billion dollars a day to spend on bombing Iran,” Warren said.
