Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Israel's strikes in Lebanon are a "clear violation" of the ceasefire and "will render negotiations meaningless", while US Vice President JD Vance said Washington hasn't suggested that Israel's operations in Lebanon would cease.
The Strait of Hormuz remains effectively shut, with Iran's Ports and Maritime Organization publishing two safe routes for shipping, and President Donald Trump vowing to keep troops in the Persian Gulf ahead of the talks in Pakistan.
