The parade featured players including Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges, OG Anunoby and Karl-Anthony Towns, accompanied by New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, and will conclude at City Hall Plaza with a ticketed ceremony.
The city prepared for enormous crowds, with spectators expected to number in the millions, and the NYPD planned to have officers at the event, while viewing areas along the route opened at 6 a.m. and were full by around 8 a.m.
