The US launched a fresh wave of strikes against Iran and revoked a waiver that allowed the sale of Iranian oil, which Iran's Foreign Ministry said had rendered last month's interim peace deal "ineffective."
Trump expressed pessimism about the peace negotiations, saying "they can talk, but I think they're wasting their time", while Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi vowed "decisive actions" in response to the US actions.
