The US launched airstrikes on Iran, hitting missile storage and launch sites on Greater Tunb Island in the Persian Gulf.
The strikes are part of a bombing campaign that President Donald Trump says will continue until Iran stops attacking ships in the Strait of Hormuz and agrees to open the waterway.
The US-Iran interim peace deal has all but collapsed, with Iran showing little sign of backing down and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps saying the strait will remain closed until the US ends its strikes and blockade.
