The ceasefire allows Vladimir Putin to host a military parade on Red Square without fear of Ukrainian retaliation, and includes a prisoner swap of 1,000 prisoners of war each.
Trump said the ceasefire is agreed to by Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, with Zelenskiy noting that the US should ensure Russia fulfills the agreements.
