YouTube Description
as posted by the channelToday is the last day of Black History month in the UK. It's an event that many companies in the City have celebrated - but Black, Asian and Minority Ethic people are still under-represented in financial services. A 2022 Race to Equality survey found that almost seven-in-ten ethnic minority workers in UK financial services felt they had experienced discrimination at work. Here is a conversation from Bloomberg Radio about the experience of being a black person working in London.
We brought together a graduate at insurance firm Gallagher, and a Managing Director from Morgan Stanley to discuss the importance of role models, and how they feel under-representation of Black people in financial industries could be addressed.
