11:06Now PlayingUS stocks rose Thursday, with the S&P 500 briefly topping its April 2 high, as the US and United Kingdom announced the framework of a trade deal and President Trump previewed tariff negotiations expected to take place this weekend in Switzerland between the US and China. The president hinted that if talks go well there could be a reduction in tariffs against China. Stocks also climbed after the president told investors to buy shares now.
