YouTube Description
as posted by the channelNasdaq CEO Adena Friedman speaks with Bloomberg TV’s Haslinda Amin on the sidelines of the New Economy Forum 2025 in Singapore. During the interview, they discussed whether AI firms are overvalued, market concentration, and plans to promote new listings.
Friedman also shared her thoughts on the announcement that Nasdaq and the Singapore Exchange (SGX) will collaborate on a new dual-listing mechanism for companies. The initiative is part of a broader effort by Singaporean authorities to boost the local stock market and enhance trading liquidity.
SGX said it plans to create a new global listing board that would allow companies with a market capitalization of at least S$2 billion ($1.5 billion) to raise funds from both the US and Singapore. It is scheduled to go live around mid-2026, the exchange said.
