On this episode of Stock Movers with Alexis Christoforous:

- Etsy (ETSY) shares soared in premarket trading, after the online marketplace reported its fourth-quarter results. Etsy reported fourth quarter revenue of $881.6 million compared to an estimate of $884.4 million. The stock had also been higher following its deal to sell its Depop business to eBay for about $1.2 billion. The deal "marks a decisive step to streamline its portfolio and refocus on its core marketplace," according to Bloomberg Intelligence.

- Carvana Co.’s (CVNA) shares fell after higher-than-expected costs dented its fourth-quarter profit. The online used-car retailer said its adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization were $511 million, lower than the average analyst estimate of $536 million. Higher non-vehicle costs and depreciation were contributors, the company said in a statement Wednesday.

- DoorDash shares rose as much as 14% in premarket trading on Thursday after the food-delivery company issued a first-quarter orders growth forecast that topped estimates. The company expects gross order value to be $31 billion to $31.8 billion in the period ending in March, topping the average estimate for $30.7 billion. DoorDash, the largest food delivery service in the US, also reported fourth-quarter total orders that surpassed estimates to reach 903 million, fueled by double-digit growth in the number of new consumers.
