-Duolingo (DUOL) shares are up 2.5% in extended trading, after Evercore ISI upgraded the language-learning software company to outperform from inline. Analyst Mark Mahaney sees an opportunity following severe weakness in the stock, which is down more than 70% off a peak hit in mid-2025
-Shares in Howmet Aerospace (HWM), GE Vernova (GEV), and Siemens Energy (ENR) dropped as Elon Musk took to X to confirm a press report that SpaceX will be casting the parts for natural gas turbines that can ease a supply bottleneck in the industry. Shares of Howmet Aerospace drop as much as 9.2%, the most intraday since July 2025. The company supplies both GE Vernova and Siemens, according to data compiled by Bloomberg
