Channel 7 reporter Amelia Brace was providing an update on demonstrations near the White House during the network's Sunrise morning program when she and a cameraman were struck. "They are being indiscriminate at the moment," Brace said. "They were firing rubber bullets at everyone, there is tear gas and now we are really surrounded by police."
