The vice president sealed her status as the presumptive nominee Monday night after crossing the magic number of 1,976 pledged delegates, according to an unofficial Associated Press tally. Harris will launch her nascent presidential campaign in earnest Tuesday with a rally in Milwaukee. “I took on perpetrators of all kinds — predators who abused women, fraudsters who ripped off consumers, cheaters who broke the rules for their own gain,” Harris said in a meeting with campaign staffers on Monday. “So hear me when I say I know Donald Trump’s type," she said.
