The euro fell to its lowest level in two years and traders ramped up bets on interest-rate cuts from the European Central Bank after gauges of business activity in the bloc’s two biggest economies contracted more than expected. The single currency fell almost 1% to $1.0375, the weakest since November 2022. The market-implied odds of a half-point rate cut next month jumped to 50%, from about 15% on Thursday. Bitcoin approaches $100,000, fueled by optimism about President-elect Donald Trump's support for crypto and potential friendly regulations.
