as posted by the channel

The Marine veteran who used a chokehold to subdue an agitated subway rider in 2023 has been acquitted. Daniel Penny was cleared of criminally negligent homicide in the death of Jordan Neely.

Penny's attorneys had said he was protecting himself and other subway passengers from a volatile, mentally ill man who was making alarming remarks and gestures.

Bloomberg's Myles Miller has been following the case and reports from our New York headquarters.
