Trump reiterated his desire for the US to take ownership of Gaza, but Abdullah sidestepped questions about the plan, saying he would discuss the future of the territory at an upcoming meeting in Saudi Arabia. Trump had threatened to cut off aid to Jordan and Egypt if they didn't agree to accept Palestinian refugees, but Abdullah's offer to resettle sick children led Trump to praise the king and back down on his threat.
