The dollar weakened to a six-month low on concern that the confusion around the Trump administration’s tariff policy will drive traders away from US assets. Europe’s Stoxx 600 index rallied, while futures for the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq 100 advanced at least 1.5%. Apple shares jumped in premarket trading. The late Friday tech tariff exemption is temporary and a part of the longstanding plan to apply a different, specific levy to the sector. Trump doubled down on the plan Sunday. “NOBODY is getting ‘off the hook,’” Trump said in a social media post Sunday.
