Risk off. US futures fall and the dollar weakens as President Trump says he will set unilateral tariff rates within two weeks. The latest threat coming just a day after Chinese and US officials talked down their own trade tensions; Treasury yields also slumping after strong auction demand for 10-year notes. Benign US inflation data boosting the outlook for more than one Fed cut this year; and the US orders some staff to leave the Middle East, after Iran warns of retaliation in the region if nuclear talks collapse and it comes under attack.
