25:28Now PlayingLate-night host Jimmy Kimmel talks with Bloomberg’s Lucas Shaw about his ABC suspension, the future of late-night TV and the stakes of satire in today’s divided political climate at Bloomberg Screentime in Los Angeles.
Kimmel said his comments about Charlie Kirk's killing were "intentionally and maliciously mischaracterized" by the political right, and he declined to say whether he will continue hosting the show after his contract is up in May.
After being suspended, Disney returned Kimmel to the air on Sept. 23 to his highest-ever ratings, and he said he doesn't believe shows like his are losing tens of millions of dollars as has been reported.
