Bloomberg understands the controversial 28-point plan was the result of several weeks of negotiations between Steve Witkoff and Russian counterpart Kirill Dmitriev, but excluded Ukraine and its allies.
US futures and Asian stocks gaining after a volatile week as optimism rises about potential Fed rate cuts. It comes after New York Fed President John Williams suggested that a near-term rate cut remains a possibility.
The world's largest miner BHP has walked away from a fresh takeover bid for Anglo American. It brings an abrupt end to a short-lived attempt to thwart a planned tie-up between its smaller rival and Canada's Teck Resources.
