The acting Pentagon inspector general’s report said Hegseth violated government policies by using his personal phone and Signal to transmit information marked “Secret.”
Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said the report proved no classified information was shared and that it was a “TOTAL exoneration” of Hegseth, and stated “This matter is resolved, and the case is closed.”
