1:47Now PlayingThe EU and India have agreed to a landmark trade deal, cutting tariffs on nearly all goods as both move to hedge against Trump’s tariffs.

2032, with both sides set to eliminate or cut tariffs on a majority of shipments.
The pact is expected to give India a competitive edge in exporting labor-intensive goods and provides concessions across services sectors, with the EU and India also growing closer on the defense front through a new security partnership.
Alisha Sachdev explains.
