Meanwhile UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer's leadership hangs in the balance, despite sacrificing his right-hand man over the controversial appointment of Peter Mandelson. Morgan McSweeney resigned as Starmer's chief of staff over the weekend, saying he took "full responsibility" for advising the Prime Minister to hire Mandelson as US Ambassador, despite his ties to the convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
