On today's show, the US carried out a new round of strikes in Iran and revoked a waiver allowing new sales of its oil. Iran says it hit an airbase in Kuwait and the Fifth Fleet naval base in Bahrain. Oil advanced, while bonds and stocks retreated after the flare-up in tensions.
The head of NATO says it's crucial that the US forcefully reacts when Iran violates the ceasefire. Mark Rutte was speaking as he arrived for the second day of the NATO summit in Turkey. US President Donald Trump will meet Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy today.
And the French far-right leader Marine Le Pen says she will stand in the 2027 presidential election after an appeals court shortened her election ban for embezzling EU funds.
