In business, Berkshire Hathaway continued reducing its cash pile, Apple is exploring a major redesign of its smartwatch lineup, and ADNOC Gas reported second-quarter net income above expectations despite a sharp decline in revenue and EBITDA. The company also restored the Habshan complex to 85% capacity ahead of schedule.
Elsewhere, Cameroon faces growing investor concerns over President Paul Biya's prolonged absence from public life, with Eurobonds under pressure and opposition leaders calling for a transition of power.
