The BFG Rap was a joke put together by a bunch of Ex-Scientologists.
Scientology has an entire album of Rap songs that Doug E Fresh performed based on L Ron Hubbard's writings. Doug E adapted the Hubbard writings and made them into Rap songs. This album is called the Joy of Creating.
So, one day I was humming a song when I was over at Tiziano Lugli's house, and he asked me what it was. So, I jokingly told him, that's the BFG song, as I sang him the chorus, "If you knew what I know and I know you would, you would do what I did, and you'd be Blown For Good."
Tiziano, having a home recording studio, thought we should record it. So we did. He said a bunch of people could do verses, and he'd put them all together.
A few months later, he had recorded a bunch of folks and made it into a song. The "BFG Rap" was born.
