Hey guys. So last night there was a debate for Georgia governor, incumbent Brian Kemp who you would have thought was as right-wing as right-wing could be is being challenged by David Perdue, a senator who lost his last race. Now what's interesting about what's going on here is Brian Kemp had been Trump endorsed when he first ran in 2018, he suppressed enough votes to beat Stacey Abrams who almost certainly would have beaten him then and she got her revenge, Stacey Abrams did, by coming back and not just taking her ball and going home but going and registering a ton of voters so the outcome in 2020 was that two Democratic senators were elected as well as Joe Biden from Georgia and one of the big things that happened was good old David Perdue, who's just used to being kind of a lazy rich guy who gets to do whatever he wants and everything works out including a number of cases of insider trading while he's in the senate, he lost, got his ass handed to him by Jon Ossoff, who's like 35. I shouldn't say that. Jon Ossoff was a great candidate.

But it was pretty funny. Perdue showed up at the first debate, you know, arrogant and got torn to shreds by Ossoff. Second debate didn't even show up. So I suppose in some ways we should be really impressed that he did show up last night in his now Trump-supported primary to Brian Kemp. Now why is this happening? Brian Kemp did every right-wing thing you can imagine from suppressing votes, to trying to outlaw abortion and put guns in the hands of babies probably and, and who knows what else. But what he wouldn't do is he certified the election which he had to do under the law. He decided not to break the law for Donald Trump and that was an opening. Trump went after him, attacked him, said he wasn't loyal because nobody's ever loyal enough to Trump and David Perdue sensing an opening went and talked to Donald Trump and, you know, maybe he kissed his butt just enough. He was able to find it by shunning that famous ultraviolet light up his wing wang that, you know, you want to do to make sure that you don't get covid and, and in the end Trump came out saying I'm going to support this guy.

So this pathetic debater, I mean, it's cringe-worthy, showed up last night and his opening statement was literally just a perfect distillation of the modern Republican party. He started it by attacking our democracy, committing sedition, saying that the election was stolen and it was rigged. 60 different studies, no proof of that. The cyber security elections secretary chief under Trump said, safest election ever. But David Perdue is just making stuff up now. And then he said something about two million illegals have come across the border. I'm surprised he didn't say it was like a billion million gazillion like Debbie Lesko of Arizona, they just make up numbers, pull them out, there's nothing going on at the border except for the border being enforced. It's a whole made-up issue from these guys because they can't take on real issues like the fact that they all supported Vladimir Putin who is now a mass murdering genocide commander in Ukraine. They can't back up the fact that they ignored covid so it became such a problem that, that Joe Biden needed to come in, pass a covid bill, get shots in arms and get our economy moving in to where our economy is the best it's been in 60 years.

They can't talk about any of that. So it's illegals on the border and dividing our party and the election was rigged and, you know, another, other all sorts of other negative things. Didn't change the fact that David Perdue would have probably been better served if he didn't show up. I'm no Brian Kemp fan, he is awful too, you know, when they take each other on and you kind of think of like that movie with Godzilla and King Kong you kind of hope they both take each other out. But it's still worth pointing out that David Perdue's a liar, that he repeated election lies that attack our very, the very foundations of our democracy and he needs to be called out constantly and I'll do another video on this. But the, some of the reporters from the Atlanta journal constitution who I've often respected, refused to do it, they just repeated what he said without pointing out it was a lie, as did many other reporters who did not sit there and fact check this serial liar. Again, the election was safe, he's a liar and he's willing to literally overthrow the foundations of our democracy and lead us to autocracy. Why would David Perdue do that? Because he is your modern Republican party everybody.
