well a michigan man lost both arms after a house filled with ammunition his house exploded that would be the lead to this story uh there's obviously much more to it you know sometimes when you watch the circus or you watch something on screen some guy's juggling stick knives or putting eating fire and they say kids don't try this at home kids and those with kid-like iqs and emotional stability don't try this at home um where to go with the story um yes a michigan man in a house filled with ammunition was building a bomb it turned out um and it turns out building bombs and houses filled with ammunition is not a good idea it's the kinds of things that lots of crazy right-wing lunatics out there attempt sadly whether it's bombs or loading up uh their arsenals of guns is people we know three percent of this country i think it's three percent i could get that wrong but it's a very small percentage has something like 70 percent of the guns that should tell you what you need to know about these people stockpiling weapons and ammunition and living in this alternative universe of hillary run slave rings and pizza basements that don't exist um so the victim was in his 30s it happened on june 11th uh it was two days ago at 3 10 p.m kaboom house caught on fire thankfully no one else was harmed they could have been that's the danger to all of us again we talk about with guns and the easy access to weaponry is that it's a threat to all of us when stupid people do stupid effing things um this guy was already under investigation so it seems that he was on the radar of i think either local authorities or the fbi um he had in the past illegally manufactured explosives um his long criminal history included that illegal weapons operation being run from the property my guess is he was a gun runner we'll get to how some new gun control bills or legislation may actually help with some of this believe it or not um and after the police executed a search warrant they found small explosive devices a dozen guns rifles handguns loaded automatic rifle style magazines automatic loaded automatic rifle style magazines you can easily take some of these guns and alter them a bit and you can learn it on the internet and turn semi-automatic into automatic it's one of the reasons why assault rifles shouldn't be available but that's another conversation for another day um four thousand pounds of ammunition rounds of ammunition excuse me four thousand pounds and that was just uh that guy in the basement trump talked about who likes to you know sit on the internet or whatever um what's important here four thousand rounds of ammunition depending upon how quickly you bought it should set up red flags right away there should be red flag laws there should be background checks frankly on large purchases of ammunition but right away this is what happened when the mass murderer at the movie theater in aurora in colorado bought something like 15 000. i don't remember again i don't i could be making up that number but thousands of rounds within like 48 hours and nope nobody thought anything weird was going on um the fire department thankfully put it out this gentleman will is in critical condition and coma he's being investigated now for this and other things he will be living the rest of his life disarmed i know i should have made that joke um i can't help myself um because he's awful for what he was doing he almost got other people hurt and look at what he did to himself he'll no longer have the right to bear arms i guess okay i'm gonna stop now this is what we need to be having the fbi search for okay um and i will say i want to make sure i covered uh the the key points here but this is why uh the recent bill if it does in fact get offered you know people talked about why i've said absolutely we need to pass it because saving lives is saving lives the republicans have offered up now and this new gun bill maybe i would call it on a scale of one to a hundred maybe seven or eight percent of what we need but they're closing uh something called the dating loophole that allowed those who stalked women um who didn't have who you know because the definition of domestic violence you had to either be married to somebody have a child with them or live with them so those that just dated them could get away with it and keep getting guns we're closing that loophole we're going to do more
