1:02Now PlayingThis is what the NRA & GOP have done to America. Republicans refuse to require background checks to ensure sanity, even temperament, lack of criminal past & lack of terrorist pals for anyone in Red States to get a gun & take it with em anywhere, including Blue States with sane laws. Cliff provides breakdown & takedown.

You know the NRA talking point, more guns are going to make us a more polite society and if everybody's carrying everybody's just going to, I guess be scared that everybody else is going to shoot them. But everyone's going to have a self-control to not shoot people so people will just do nice things. So for example we have New Haven where a man was just arrested because he held the door open for a woman and she refused to thank him so he drew his gun on her. I think you should say thank you when someone holds the door for you, man, woman, whoever you are. I think that good appreciation is is a good thing in society. I think paying it forward is awesome. I also think that having people who have, who lack the temperament, intelligence or anything else you want to sort of pretend they have, to pull a gun out and threaten to shoot someone for not holding a door for them. That's someone who should not have a gun. That's someone if a background check can't keep them from having a gun and the background check isn't good enough and we don't even have universal background checks. Yes, fewer guns and more thank you's for holding the door. Less NRA and Republicans.
