Matt Gaetz right here in my district his opponent has put out a new ad a guy Mark Lombardo I believe actually claiming in the ad that maybe Matt Gaetz is this secret Mar-A-Lago informant it is it is amazing he's not kidding either he actually thinks this could be a possibility it's probably not going to hurt Gaetz but just putting it out there because all of these little MAGA freaks have been just pointing at one another ever since this happened a lot of fingers pointing at Jared Kushner so I was on I was on um Mary Trump's show yesterday uh she's got a podcast you know she's got a sort of group of people she has on to just talk about issues and that's her theory is that it's Jared Kushner now I don't know if Mary is doing it just to mess with him just to you know or she really believes it but I don't care that's this is the part Democrats so often don't get and I'm so whoever this uh uh whoever this guy is Lombardo I just think of the name from the movie quick change I don't know if you ever saw that Mr Lombardo says I can't help it but I actually like this I'm a big fan now and you know I may have to do at my email list of fundraiser for him because I love it because he gets politics that so much of this is about again I wish it were all about issues in a perfect world we have high-minded debates we debate issues and the person who who is better knowledgeable and has better positions to win but the Republicans as we know for example the Kansas abortion referendum are on the wrong side of every issue now many of them by 30 40 points they're you're looking to every one of their histories I mean pick any of them Matt Gaetz being looked into for child sex trafficking you know Jim Jordan ignored people the kids being raped at Ohio State you know Marjorie Taylor Greene has all sorts of campaign Finance violations in her past stalked one of the the survivors of Parkland I mean Lauren Boebert is a walking criminal record she and her husband her husband can't stop showing his penis or crashing into neighbor's Lawns she ditches her kids in the car when she's off-roading in Utah I mean the Republican party at this point is fly paper for the worst literally if you're among us and you're a sociopath or you're a narcissist you get like a special bat signal that this is the party for you so you you know that you can get these people to infight and to argue and to do all that and it's people like this candidate Lombardo and I've seen some of the other ones who've I mean obviously Fetterman has done the most brilliant job of any Democrat you know just put them on the defensive mock them get them fighting with each other Tim Ryan's done a great job here in Ohio with JD Vance the little Ali who's owned by Peter Thiel you know who wrote a whole book basically saying that people like JD Vance were lazy and opioid addicted and whatever and so now he's just going out reading passages of his book to the Republican base I mean you can play this right and understand that you're going to win votes by putting them on the defensive by by knocking them off message by getting them to fight with their own own people it's a smart strategy yeah and you know you bring up Oz and Fetterman and my God not only is Fetterman for somebody who only within the last couple days actually got back out on the campaign Trail uh just done a brilliant job of letting Oz destroy himself and of course prodding it along and showing people this but sometimes that really is all you do you can't have the hands-off approach like oh I'm just going to watch them self-destruct it's feeding into it ever so slightly and making them continue to self-destruct whoever his handlers are y'all are brilliant move to DC and start working with other Democrats as well it's truly a remarkable campaign and Oz I love it watching him go down in flames even in Friendly interviews kind of like Herschel Walker they can't stop themselves from saying the dumbest things ever I mean they're lobbing the softballs and it's just absolutely these guys keep pushing them I'll say I know we probably have to go soon I'll just say quickly like you know that's what it's it's so important about this is we have and again like I don't try to make this about age because there's some folks like Ron Wyden who's like in his 70s and is great at messaging but understanding who are up against the era we're in with social media what gets attention we've we do have This brilliant Next Generation Fettermen among them you know Katie Porter and Stacey Abrams and
