The Justice Department told a federal judge it could not produce Jane Doe 4's FBI interview notes. Unredacted copies had been sitting on a public website since March, with her real name on them.

Jane Doe 4 says she was thirteen years old in 1981 when she met the man she knew as "Jeff" on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. She sat for four FBI interviews in 2019. Thirty-seven pages of those interviews are missing from the Epstein files the DOJ released, and Judge Sullivan has given the department ten days to explain where they went. Days later, twenty-two pages of handwritten notes from those same interviews surfaced online, fully unredacted, uploaded to Scribd back in March by a Washington Examiner reporter and left there for five months.
